Answer: yes we can write nine proper and nine improper fraction with help of these given numbers.

Explanation: Since, a proper fraction is a fraction which has the value less than 1, that is, the value of numerator is less than the value of denominator.

For example p/q is a proper fraction if p<q.

On the other hand, In Improper fraction numerator is greater than denominator.

Since, given numbers are 3,5 and 8

So, the possible proper fractions= \frac{3}{5},\frac{3}{8} \frac{5}{8},\frac{3}{5.8},\frac{5}{3.8}, \frac{8}{5.3},\frac{3}{5+8},\frac{5}{3+8}, \frac{5-3}{8}⇒\frac{3}{5},\frac{3}{8} \frac{5}{8},\frac{3}{40},\frac{5}{24}, \frac{8}{15},\frac{3}{13},\frac{5}{11}, \frac{1}{4}

Similarly, the possible improper fraction= \frac{5}{3},\frac{8}{3} \frac{8}{5},\frac{40}{3},\frac{24}{5}, \frac{15}{8},\frac{13}{3},\frac{11}{5}, \frac{19}{3}   ( Here, 8-\frac{5}{3}=\frac{19}{3} )

frutty [35]

Answer: x=20

Step-by-step explanation:

The entire thing is equal to 180 degrees. so, 100+3x+x=180, which can be simplified to 100+4x=180. If we subtract 100 from both sides, we get 4x=80, 80 divided by 4 is 20, so x=20

A building has two elevators that both go above and below ground. At a certain time of day the travel time it takes elevator A t
GuDViN [60]

Answer:

It will take 16 seconds for elevator A to reach ground level.

It will take 12 seconds for elevator B to reach ground level.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given that a building has two elevators that both go above and below ground.

At a certain time of day the travel time it takes elevator A to reach height h in meters is 0.8h+16. We can see that at this time lift is going above the ground as it has a positive slope.

The travel time it takes elevator B to reach height h in meters is -0.8h+12 seconds. We can see that at this time lift B is going below the ground as it has a negative slope.

To find the time it would take for each elevator to reach ground level at the given time we will substitute h=0 in both of our given expressions as at height equals zero both elevators will be at ground level.

\text{Time it will take elevator A to reach ground level}=0.8*0+16

\text{Time it will take elevator A to reach ground level}=0+16

\text{Time it will take elevator A to reach ground level}=16

Therefore, it will take 16 seconds for elevator A to reach ground level.

\text{Time it will take elevator B to reach ground level}=-0.8*0+12

\text{Time it will take elevator B to reach ground level}=-0+12

\text{Time it will take elevator B to reach ground level}=12

Therefore, it will take 12 seconds for elevator B to reach ground level.
