Answer: favors organisms well adapted to the environment

cannot work if beneficial traits are not hereditary

is often called survival of the fittest

Explanation:

Natural selection is a process of differential survival and reproduction. In this the organism having the beneficial traits which is expected to survive and reproduce in the changing environment or in unfavorable environment. On the basis of the above description, the following statements are correct.

favors organisms well adapted to the environment : The natural selection is only favors organisms which either acquire genetically or through environmental changes the beneficial traits which makes the organisms suitable for the survival in their environment.

cannot work if beneficial traits are not hereditary : The process of natural selection cannot initiate when the benificial traits that are not inherited by the living being from the parents.

is often called survival of the fittest : The process of natural selection allows the survival of the organisms which are better adapted to the environmental conditions.

Natural selection is not a random process because it will only occur in those organisms which have inherited beneficial traits from their parents.

Would you concidder 18.88 good BMI for a 13 year old?
vichka [17]
A BMI of 18.88 would be pretty normal for a 13 year old if not a bit on the lower side already. Usually we consider a BMI between around 18/19 and around 25 to be that of a normal weight person. If it is below theis, we would recommend to eat more, if ti above this we would recommend to eat less. Considering that we're talking about a 13 year old, perhaps it would be better if he/she ate a bit more to supply his body with the necessary nutritional needs.

Secondary active transportA) does not require the cell to invest energy, either directly or indirectly.B) is not carried out by
In-s [12.5K]

The correct option is (D)

Explanation:

 • The electrochemical gradients set up by primary active transport store energy, which can be discharged as the particles move down their slopes or gradients. Secondary active transport utilizes the energy put away in these inclinations or gradients to move different substances against their own gradients.
 • For instance, we should assume we have a high concentration of sodium particles or ions in the extracellular space. On the off chance that a course or route, for example, a channel or transporter protein is open, sodium particles will descend their concentration gradient and come back to the inside of the cell.
