Answer: Sample answer : a model is an estimate or approximation of a data set. In the real world, there are too many variables to know exactly what will happen. However, if a model is a good fit, then it can be used to make predictions about what will happen. With a useful model, a predicted value should be a good estimate of an observed value.

Basically meaning that no model can exactly be on point with whatever it is modeling. Two things cannot be EXACTLY identical to what they are referring to, but it is saying that some can get close enough to be useful as an example.

Ms. Anastasopoulos has 30 students. 4/5 of the students have pets. OF the students who have pets, 2/3 of them have a dog as a pe
Lena [83]

Answer:

16

Step-by-step explanation:

since 4/5 have a pet, you would divide by 5.

30÷5=6

but since only 4 have a pet, you would multiply that by 4 to get 4/5

6×4=24

24 students have pets

now you would divide by 3, as 2/3 have a dog

24÷3=8

but only 2/3 have dog, so you would multiply by 2

8×2=16

I'm sure there is a simpler way but this is how I would do it.
