White people's response to the enactment of the 13th amendment:

This was an extraordinary decision taken by President Lincoln, but in reality, the main people of the white United States were a little disgusted with slavery, but they did not have very supportive political policies, and this finally emerged as a result of new challenges. When the civil war ended, the north was quite tolerant of southern slaveholders, and it hurt many people who participated in the war and encouraged the state not to support it properly. Eventually there was a racist race between whites and blacks.

Further explanation

The 13th Amendment is a reconstruction amendment proposed by President Abraham Lincoln. This amendment provides for the abolition of slavery and forced slavery, except as punishment for crime.

Answer:

The amendment prohibiting slavery was ratified by the US Congress in 1865, after it was adopted by the necessary three quarters of the states (27 of the 36 existing then). The Thirteenth Amendment prohibited slavery and forced labor, except for punishing a crime. In particular, section IV of article IV was also amended, which had previously forbidden to facilitate the escape of slaves. However, some southern states at first refused to accept the amendment and did so only after some time.

1. The Middle Colonies were more diverse than colonies in New England and the South.

2. In 1663, Charles II of England granted the land called Carolina to eight Lords Proprietors, who controlled the Carolinas until 1729.

3. All of the systems of government in the Southern Colonies elected their own legislature, they were all democratic, they all had a governor, governor's court, and a court system.

4. By the late 17th century, Virginia's and Maryland's economic and social structure rested on the great planters and the yeoman farmers. The planters of the tidewater region, supported by slave labor, held most of the political power and the best land.

5. The southern colonies were made up of mostly coastal plains and piedmont areas. The soil was good for farming and the climate was warm, including hot summers and mild winters. The growing season here was longer than any other region.
