White people's response to the enactment of the 13th amendment:

This was an extraordinary decision taken by President Lincoln, but in reality, the main people of the white United States were a little disgusted with slavery, but they did not have very supportive political policies, and this finally emerged as a result of new challenges. When the civil war ended, the north was quite tolerant of southern slaveholders, and it hurt many people who participated in the war and encouraged the state not to support it properly. Eventually there was a racist race between whites and blacks.

Further explanation

The 13th Amendment is a reconstruction amendment proposed by President Abraham Lincoln. This amendment provides for the abolition of slavery and forced slavery, except as punishment for crime.

Answer:

The amendment prohibiting slavery was ratified by the US Congress in 1865, after it was adopted by the necessary three quarters of the states (27 of the 36 existing then). The Thirteenth Amendment prohibited slavery and forced labor, except for punishing a crime. In particular, section IV of article IV was also amended, which had previously forbidden to facilitate the escape of slaves. However, some southern states at first refused to accept the amendment and did so only after some time.

During the contraction of a vertebrate skeletal muscle fiber
solmaris [256]

Answer:

For the compacting of a vertebrate skeletal muscle fibre to occur, the reactions go on in the body:

i. the body's motor neuron triggers the neurotransmitter which in turn leads to a release of calcium ions

ii. the Calcium ions bonds to a regulatory protein called Troponin. When this bonding occurs the protein mentioned above attracts another type of protein called tropomyosin away from the binding sites on actin filaments.

Actin filaments are found in muscle and nonmuscle cells as microfilaments in the cytoskeleton and as thin filaments in the body's contractile system.

iii. the Myosin cross bridges bind themselves to actin filaments

iv. The cross bridges then attract actin inward by bending
