While some parents consider themselves to be their child’s friend, many parents believe that a parent should behave as a parent

and not as a friend. In today’s world, do you think parents can communicate better with their children as friends, or that it will lead to a loss of authority and respect for the parent and poor discipline?

I think a parent's would communicate better with there kids as friends. because friends talk better with other friends because they are more open. As for kids and parent's they don't get along very well sometimes because the kid thinks the parent's are to bossy or whatever..etc.
