Let's see if the three given angles add to 180 degrees

30+65+85 = 95 + 85 = 180

Since the angles add to 180 degrees, this means that a triangle is possible. Not just one triangle, but infinitely many.

Why? Because we can scale the triangles, or dilate them. Put another way, we can enlarge or shrink any triangle with these angle measures. There are infinitely many triangles of all sorts of sizes with these angles. They will all have the same shape. These triangles are similar to one another.

Answer: Infinitely many triangles are possible.

Answer:

x = -6/7

Step-by-step explanation:

5 – 6x = 8x + 17

-5                 - 5           Subtract 5 from both sides

-6x = 8x + 12

-8x   - 8x                     Subtract 8x from both sides

-14x = 12                      Divide both sides by -14

x = -12/14                     Simplify

x = -6/7

A function f is differentiable for all values of x in [0,6], and the graph with equation y=f(x) has a local minimum point at (2,
MrRa [10]

Step-by-step explanation:

The slope of tangent line at a max or a minimum is 0,.

So using point slope formula.

y - 4 = 0(x - 2)

y = 4

Is the equation of a tangent line. This means we have a horizontal line at y= 4. Horizontal lines have a slope of 0.

Surface Area of the figure is 1208 square centimeters
a=20
b=13
c=12
d=5
e=8
Top face:
A1=a×e=20×8
ae=160
Bottom face:
A2(a+2d)×e=(20+2×5)×8=(20+10)×8=30×8
(a+2d)e=240
Front face:
Rectangle
a×c=20×12=240
Triangle:
12c×d=12×12×5=6×5=30
A3Rectangle +2 triangles
240+2×30=240+60=300
(a+d)c=300
Slant face:
A4=b×e=13×8=104
be=104
Total surface area
A=A1+A2+2(A3+A4)
A1=160
A2=240
A3=300
A4=104
Thus,
A=160+240+2(300+104)
A=400+2(404)
A=400+808=1208
Surface Area of the figure is 1208 square centimeters

Answer: The ladder is 5.3 m long
Step by step solution
1. Draw out the scenario, ie a right triangle where the hypotenuse is the ladder, the wall is 4.5m and the angle the ladder and the ground makes 58 degree.

2. Soh, Cah, Toa
The wall is opposite, the ground is adjacent, and the ladder is hypotenuse
Sine (58) = 4.5/h

3. Solve for hypotenuse
h * sine (58) = 4.5
h = 4.5/sine (58)
h = ~ 5.3 m

Marta bought new fish for her home aquarium. She bought 3 guppies and 2 platies for a total of $13.95. Hank also bought guppies
ratelena [41]
Hank bought same guppies as Marta but 2more platies so
18.33-13.95=4.38
2platies=4.38
4.38/2=2.19
2.19 price of platies
13.95-4.34=9.61
9.61/3=3.20
3.29 price of guppies
