Be as detailed as possible, make lists, make a schedule or plan, schedule doctors visits and checkups, do everything to make them feel comfortable with the switch. I believe all pediatricians should offer flyers of information on how to properly deal with these situations, so instead of panicking, the parents are ready to tackle the situation.
