7 < 3 - 2x                       => Add 2x to both sides

7 + 2x < 3 - (2x - 2x)     =>  As 2x -2x = 0

7 + 2x < 3                      =>  Subtract  7 from both sides

2x < -4                           => Divide both sides by 2

x < -4./2 = -2
