Rahm and Stella have been married for three years. The relationship started out great, but recently it has become more and more

difficult. Stella frequently gets angry and has started throwing things and screaming at Rahm. She has never hurt Rahm, but he can never predict what will make Stella angry. The rages get worse when she drinks alcohol, which is happening more often. Rahm knows that Stella's father was abusive and hit her when she was a child. Rahm has tried to talk to Stella about it, but she refuses to talk about it. Rahm hopes that things get better and pretends that Stella's behavior is normal, especially since he doesn't have a job right now and depends on Stella to pay for their living expenses. (9 points)

Answer:

Rahm's behavior - abuse victim

Stella's behavior - abuser

Relationship - abusive

Explanation:

When we are in an abusive relationship, it can often be difficult to have a complete view of the relationship. We can't always get far enough away to see the full picture.

Abusive relationship is the definition of a relationship that has physical or emotional abuse. Abuse can be understood as the misuse and excessive use of powers.  This scene could be considered between Rahm and Stella, once Rahm doesnt have a job, Stella could be in "high position" compared to him, as she could have the power because shes paying the living expenses.

Therefore, even if there is no aggression, abuse can take the form of psychological, sexual and financial violence.  Although more common in love relationships, such as dating and marriage, abusive relationships can happen in other forms of living. For example: between parents and children, friends, boss and employee. n general, abusive relationships are made up of much control and dependence.  Thus, while one exerts a strong influence on the other, the latter in turn creates a bond that is difficult to break.

The abused have a tendency to satisfy the oppressor at any price. In this way, it becomes submissive and dominated, especially in the face of threats.  It can be said that in abusive relationships, it is common to experience feelings such as inferiority, isolation, sadness, fear and annulment.   Some signs to abusive relationship:  excessive jealousy of everything and everyone for no apparent reason , invasion of privacy , constant distrust , embarrassment, especially in front of other people , threats , lack of respect for each other's opinions and choices , too many bans on friendships and clothing, for example , intense irritation , insecurity , sexual pressure , physical aggression.

Plus, the fact of Stella has a family history with alcohol, and drink often, could make her more aggressive, having a higher lever of abuser behavior.

Rahm’s behaviors that put him at risk for becoming an abuse victim is that Stella is almost the throwing things at him. He pretends that her behavior is normal but it’s not.

Stella’s behavior that make her an abuser is that she almost throwing things at Rahm and she drinks alcohol which makes her liver an abuse victim to the alcohol she’s consuming.

I do not consider their relationship healthy because she is getting angry and drinking but he tries to talk and she does not want to but he pretends it’s normal behavior

Which is the most effective study method ??
aleksandr82 [10.1K]

This is heavily disputed, and honestly, it varies on a person-by-person basis. Some people are visual learners (so it's effective for them to use videos and pictures to help them study), some prefer being hands-on, etc...

Generally though, I'd say the most effective method that works for most people is through visceralisation. This is the process of associating concepts, words. phrases etc. with your different senses (sound, touch, images...). You can read up more on it by searching up "visceralisation for studying".
