Here given, f(x) = 3x^2+2 and g(x) = x^2-9

we have to find (f-g)(x) which means the subtracting of the functions f(x) and g(x).

(f-g)(x) = f(x) - g(x)

= (3x^2+2) - (x^2-9)

= 3x^2+2 -x^2-(-9)

= 3x^2-x^2+2+9 ( we know that multiplication of negative and negative is positive)

= 2x^2+2+9

=2x^2+11

We have got the required answer here.

(f-g)(x) = 2x^2+11

The answer would be 2x²+11.

(f-g)(x)=f(x)-g(x)=3x²+2-(x²-9) = 3x²- x² + 2 --9 = 2x²+2+9 = 2x²+11

Find the x- and y-intercepts of the graph of x - 6y = 16. State your answers as
Nataly_w [17]
The x-int is (16,0)

you plug in 0 for y and solve

x-6(0)=16

x=16

the y-int is (0, -8/3)

you plug in 0 for x and solve

0-6y=16

y= -16/6

simplify by dividing both the numerator and the denominator by 2

y= -8/3

What does x equal????
Pavlova-9 [17]

Answer:

Let angel C be a

now,

a+68°+37° = 180° ( sum of triangles)

or, a+ 105°=180°

or, a= 180°-105°

so, a= 75°

again,

a = x = 75° ( being alternate angle )

so, the required value of x is 75°
