The height of a trapezoid is 9 centimeters. The bases are 8 centimeters and 12 centimeters long. Find the area?
Georgia [21]

To fond the area of a trapezoid, add the top and bottom together, divide that by 2, than multiply by the height.

Area = (8+12)/2 = 20/2 = 10

10 x 9 = 90 square centimeters.

So you a 3+4+6+7=20 divide that by 4(because there you added 4 numbers) and that equals 5
