Cardiac muscle is involuntary and found only in the heart. Skeletal muscle is striated in regular, parallel bundles of sarcomeres. Cardiac muscle is striated, but the bundles are connected at branching, irregular angles called intercalated discs. Skeletal muscle tissue is about 15% denser than fat tissue

How would your body be affected if your pituitary gland was not working properly?
sweet [91]

The pituitary gland, or hypophysis, is an endocrine gland that consists of anterior pituitary (or adenohypophysis) and posterior pituitary (or neurohypophysis). Adenohypophysis regulates several physiological processes (including stress, growth, reproduction, and lactation) by secreting hormones. The neurohypophysis functionally connects the gland to the hypothalamus. The intermediate lobe (between adeno and neurohypophysis) synthesizes and secretes melanocyte-stimulating hormone. Because it controls a lot of functions inside the organism it can affect many things when it is not working properly (over- or under-production of pituitary hormones). It can cause diabetes insipidus by a deficiency of vasopressin, it can cause thyroid disorders, gigantism (too much growth hormone)…

A large-mouth bass is taken from a fresh water lake and transplanted into the river. If the conditions for survival are optimal,
liberstina [14]
The cells will make some sort of reaction, there's no doubt about it. But for a bass I believe that their cells will stay the same or shrink over time.
Bass are strong fish and they usually do well when there's a change in conditions made in the environment. But it depends on what this river has in it and if it leads to bigger opened waters.
If there's a shortage of food sources for the bass it'll have to adapt quickly or it'll die from the predators in the area. If there isn't any places the Bass can lay their eggs (reproduce) its population will die in that river.
There also competition. In that river it could have socked eye salmon in it or catfish even pikes. So the Bass cells would stay the same.

Hope this helps
