There are 1500 bees in a colony. Each month, the number of bees decreases by 12%. There are 800 flowering plants in a garden. Ea

ch month, 25 flowering plants are removed.
Part A: Write functions to represent the number of bees and the number of flowering plants throughout the months. (4 points)

Part B: How many bees are in the colony after 6 months? How many flowering plants are in the garden after the same number of months? (2 points)

Part C: After approximately how many months is the number of bees and the number of flowering plants the same? Justify your answer mathematically. (4 points)

Part A:Bees: f ( t ) = 1,500 * 0.88^tFlowering plants: g ( t ) = 800 - 25 tPart B :f ( 6 ) = 1,500 * 0.88^6 = 696.6 ≈ 697
g ( 6 ) = 800 - 25 * 6 = 800 - 150 = 650Part C :f ( 7 ) = 1,500 * 0.88^7 = 613g ( 7 ) = 800 - 7 * 25 = 625f ( 7 ) ≈ g ( 7 )After approximately 7 months.

What is the equation of a line that passes through (7,8) and has a slope of -3
Komok [63]
It is helpful to first plug this in to point-slope form (note that there are other ways to do this).

Using the form y-y_1 = m(x-x_1), you get y-8=-3(x-7). You can simplify this to get y = -3x+29.

Solve surface area please! Quick it’s due soon
just olya [345]

Answer:

SA = 470 m²

volume = 494 m³

Step-by-step explanation:

Individual areas

Back = 4 x 19 = 76 m²

Top = 5 x 19 = 95 m²

sloped side = 5 x 19 = 95 m²

base = 8 x 19 = 152 m²

end = (4 x 5) + 1/2(3 x 4) = 26 m²

Total SA = 76 + 95 + 95 + 152 + (2 x 26) = 470 m²

Volume

volume = (4 x 5 x 19) + 1/2(3 x 4 x 19) = 494 m³

Given A(3, 4), B(4, 3) and C(2, 1), what are the coordinates of C', the image of C under a rotation of 90 degrees about the orig
Aleks [24]

Given:

The coordinates of the points A, B and C are (3,4), (4,3) and (2,1)

The points are rotated 90° about the origin.

We need to determine the coordinates of the point C'.

Coordinates of the point C':

The general rule to rotate the point 90° about the origin is given by

(x, y) \Rightarrow(-y, x)

Substituting the coordinates of the point C in the above formula, we get;

(2, 1) \Rightarrow(-1, 2)

Therefore, the coordinates of the point C' is (-1,2)
