Yes, for the first question you correct; at a rate of [tex] \frac{4.5mil}{30sec} [tex], one second of airtime would cost $150,000.

For the second, no you wouldn't be able to get 20 minutes of airtime with $3 million.
Let's set up the equation;
[tex] \frac{3mil}{xsec} = \frac{150000dollars}{1sec} \\
3mil*1=150000*x \\
x = \frac{3mil}{150000} = 20 sec [tex]
So at a rate of $150,000 per second, $3 million gets you 20 seconds of airtime.

Choose all that give the correct effect on the linear graph of the parent function ƒ(x).
Nataliya [291]

Answer: since the parent function is f(x), then i think....

f(x) + 5 is the shifted 5 units up of f(x)

then the first answer is correct

f(x - 8) is 8 shifted 8 units right of f(x)

then the second answer is wrong,

f(x) is replaced by 4f(x) means it stretched vertically by a factor of 4

the the third answer is correct

f(x) is replaced with f(3x) compressed horizontally by a scale factor of 1/3

then the fourth answer is correct

Step-by-step explanation: i hope this makes since and sorry if it doesn't so the first is correct, second is wrong, third is correct, and fourth is also correct. and no there well be no links. (sorry if you do want links)

I rent a gym for $200.00 for 30 students. A year later I rent the gym for $330 for 70 students.
Anna [14]

let X be number of students

and y be total cost

when 30 students (30,X)where at the gym it's costs 200 (y,200)

=that is (X,y)=(30,200)

when 70 students where at the gym

=(X,y)= (70,330)

now we find the slope

M=y2-y1/x2-x1

= 330-200/70-30

= 100/40

= 2.5=3

now

Y=Mx+b

Y=2x+b

we need to find the value of b

so,we substrate for X and Y

X=30,200

200=2(30)+b

re-arrange

B+60=200

B=200-60

=140

y=2x+140

For the other questions, I can look at the equation I got. The y-intercept (b value) is $200. That means that we are adding $200 on to the price all the time. That's the price for the empty bus. The 2x means to multiply the number of people by two and add this to the $120. So each person is $2.

hope it's helpful

and please I really need brainliest, thanks

Over the course of a multi-stage 4510-km bicycle race, the front wheel of an athlete's bicycle makes 1.70x106 revolutions. How m
iragen [17]

Answer:

The wheel have made 2.10 * 10^{6}  m revolutions.

Step-by-step explanation:

The total distance traveled during the race is

D = 4510km [(1000m)/(1km)] = 4510 * 10^{3} m

The radius (r1) of the smaller bicycle wheel is

r1 = \frac{D}{2*pi*N1} = \frac{4510 * 10^{3} m }{2*pi*(2.18*10^{6}) } =0.329 m

Than the larger wheel has a radius

r2 = 0.329 m + 0.012 m = 0.341 m

Over the same distance this wheel would make N2 revolutions

N2 = \frac{D}{2*pi*r2} = \frac{4510 * 10^{3} m }{2*pi*(0.341) } = 2.10 * 10^{6}  m
