Keeping in mind your respective course (HIST 1301 and/or HIST 1302), should statues of historical figures be removed if they wer
Reil [10]
Absolutely not. They are important historical artifacts and represent important events. Although some of these events were not morally correct we can use it as a reminder to not repeat the past. Some of these statues are 100’s of years old. Almost no other countries destroy their historical statues due to “sensitivity”. Also keep in mind that erasing these statues would be equivalent to erasing our history and not giving any recognition to those groups of people that suffered.

Which statements describe Russian serfs?
Ivan

Answer:

A. They were regarded as the property of the noble whose fields

they worked.

Explanation:

Serfdom represented a set of legal norms enshrining a prohibition for peasants leaving their land allotments without the permission of the authorities (that is, peasants attached to the land; runaways were subject to forced return), hereditary subordination of administrative and judicial authorities of a certain feudal lord, depriving peasants of the right to alienate land plots and acquire real estate, sometimes - an opportunity for the feudal lord to alienate peasants without land. In its most severe manifestations, serfdom is approaching slavery.
