Answer with explanation:

Cycle for Summer Olympics =14

Cycle for Census =10

We have to find the year in which both will fall together.

Among H C F and L C M, Lowest common multiple gives the greatest number which is divisible by both the numbers that is 14 and 10.

14= 2 × 7

10 = 2×5

L C M of 14 and 10 = 2 × 5×7= 70

So, in 2070 ,the two summer Olympics as well as US census cycle will fall.

The y-intercept in the linear equation y=−110x−2 is _[blank]_.
suter [353]

Answer:

-2

Step-by-step explanation:

This linear equation is in slope-intercept format, aka y=mx+b. This is where m=slope and b=y-intercept. In the following equation, -110 is the slope and -2 replaces b, meaning it is the y-intercept

If A1
= 9 and An = An-1 + 4 then find the value of A5
BRAINLIEST TO ANYONE
wlad13 [49]

Answer:

25

Step-by-step explanation:

a1 = 9

a2 = a1 + 4

a2 = 9 + 4

a2 = 13

a3 = a2 + 4

a3 = 13 + 4

a3 = 17

a4 = 21

a5 = 21 + 4

a5 = 25

This can more easily be done by using this formula

L = a1 + (n - 1) * d

a1 = 9

n = 5

d = 4

L = 9 + (5 -1)*4

L = 9 + 4*4

L = 9 + 16

L = 25

Identify the 8th term of the geometric sequence in which a3 = 16 and a6 = −128.
Katen [24]

Answer:A. - 512

Step-by-step explanation:

Here is how I solved this problem:

-First take -128 and divide it by 16

(You should get -8)

-Then take -8 and cube root it

(You should get 2)

You have found your multiplier, which is 2.

After this you can start from -128 and multiply by 2, 2 times to get to the 8th term which is -512.
