Answer: Confidentiality of the individual subject's responses.

The most important issue that the researcher addressed while planning this research was to keep the confidentiality of the individuals who participated in the survey. By simply answering the questions anonymously and dropping them in the survey box, participants were able to express their thoughts more freely.

The answer is confidentiality. The most important issue that the researcher addressed in planning the research is confidentiality.

EXPLANATION

Confidentiality in the research is applied. The subjects may complete the survey and place it in a box at the shopping mall exits so that the subjects can answer the survey as honestly as possible without the fear that anyone would know who they are. Confidentiality in this research works as a stimulus for the subjects to answer the survey freely because they are able to be anonymous.

Confidentiality is a condition where the researcher knows the identity of the subject but takes steps to protect the subject’s identity from being discovered by other people. Most of the human researches require informed consent to be filled by the participants. This is important because the researcher can identify the subject’s identity. With maintaining confidentiality, it is the key to ensure private information from the participants.

Researchers have used a lot of methods to make the subject’s identity confidential. Some of it is through securing the protected files using a password, using encryption when sending the information over the internet, or even using locked drawers or door to keep the information safe. The real name and address of the subject are usually not put in the survey. They will use the code name as the name of the subject. For example, if the subject’s name is Lucy Gate, the code name will be LG. This is to ensure the confidentiality of the subject’s identity.

What is the difference between differential reinforcement of alternative behavior (DRA) and differential reinforcement of incomp
Anuta_ua [19.1K]

Answer: In differential reinforcement of alternative behavior (DRA), it is possible for the problem behavior and reinforced behaviour to coexist while in differential reinforcement of incompatible behavior (DRI), it is not.

Explanation:

Differential reinforcement of alternative behavior (DRA) and differential reinforcement of incompatible behavior (DRI) are both ways to reduce or eliminate unsatisfactory behavior. They aim to change behavior by substituting unwanted behavior with target behavior and removing the reinforcement of unwanted behavior .

The difference between DRA and DRI is the compatibility of the behavior that is being reinforced with the existing behavior. While DRA shows an alternative way to behave, DRI only reinforces behavior incompatible with the problem behavior.  An example of DRA is is telling a student to raise her hand instead of shouting in class. Here, both of these behaviors are compatible. An example of DRI is telling a child who has a habit of talking while eating to do one or the other.
