If you are adding 43 and 28 , you will regroup because if you're adding two digits  you can trade them in for seven tens and 1 one . ( I'm in 7th grade and knows this ) But you're welcome :)

Yes you will, 8 + 3 is greater than 9 so you will regroup

Which ratio is porportional to 18/21? A.2/3 B. 30/35 C. 36/48 D.1/3
defon
You can solve this problem by applying the proccedure below:

 You have:

 a) 18/21=2/3
 18x3/21x2
 36≠42 (2/3 is not proportinal to 18/21).

 b)18/21=30/35
 18x35/21x30
 630=630  (30/35 is proportional to 18/21)

 c)18/21=36/48
 18x48/21x36
 864≠756  (36/48<span> is</span><span> not proportinal to 18/21)
</span>
 d)18/21=1/3
 18x3/21x1
 54≠21  (<span> 1/3 is</span><span> not proportinal to 18/21)
</span>
 Therefore, you can conclude that the correct option is: B.30/35

nasty-shy [4]

Answer:

5 tickets after may 30th would be $135.

5 tickets before may 30th would be $121.50

Step-by-step explanation:

If you buy the 4 tickets + the one ticket you would get $135 for after may 30th then multiply that by .1 to get 121.5 for before may 30th with the 10% off.

Use the rational zeroes theorem to state all the possible zeroes of the following polynomial:
Mkey [24]

Answer:

All the possible zeroes of the polynomial: f(x) = 3x^{6} + 4x^{3} - 2x^{2} +4 are  ±1 , ±2 ,  ±4 ,  ±\frac{1}{3} , ±\frac{2}{3}  , ±\frac{4}{3} by using rational zeroes theorem.

Step-by-step explanation:

Rational zeroes theorem gives the possible roots of polynomial f(x) by taking ratio of p and q where p is a factor of constant term and q is a factor of the leading coefficient.

The polynomial f(x) = 3x^{6} + 4x^{3} - 2x^{2} +4

Find all factors (p) of the constant term.

Here we are looking for the factors of 4, which are:

±1 , ±2 and ±4

Now find all factors (q) of the coefficient of the leading term

we are looking for the factors of 3, which are:

±1 and ±3

List all possible combinations of ± \frac{p}{q}  as the possible zeros of the polynomial.

Thus, we have ±1 , ±2 ,  ±4 ,  ±\frac{1}{3} , ±\frac{2}{3}  , ±\frac{4}{3} as the possible zeros of the polynomial

Simplify the list to remove and repeated elements.

All the possible zeroes of the polynomial: f(x) = 3x^{6} + 4x^{3} - 2x^{2} +4 are  ±1 , ±2 ,  ±4 ,  ±\frac{1}{3} , ±\frac{2}{3}  , ±\frac{4}{3}
