Answer:

128

Step-by-step explanation:

As common ratio is 1/4 ; let the first four terms of the geometric series be :

x , 1 / 4 .x , (1 / 4)2 .x , (1 / 4)3 .x  or

x , x / 4 , x / 16 and  x / 64

Now there sum is  170 , hence

x + x / 4 + x / 16 +  x / 64 = 170 or

(64a + 16a + 4a + a ) / 64  = 170 or

85a / 64 = 170

a = 128

Hence first first term of the series is

128

Answer: 16p^8q^4r^8 The yellow one

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Use Multiplication Distributive Property: (xy)^a = x^a y^a. So 4^2p^2(q^3)(r^4)^2

Step 2: Simplify 4^2 to 16. So 16p^2(q^3)^2(r^4)^2

Step 3: Use Power Rule: (x^a)^b=x^ab. So 16p^2q^6(r^4)^2

Step 4: Use Power Rule: (x^a)^b=x^ab. So the answer is 16p^2q^6r^8. The yellow one
