Built into society's institutions, "institutional discrimination" is negative treatment of a minority group.

Institutional discrimination is the demonstration of denying equal rights to and singling out specific people in the public arena by the fluctuated organizations of a similar society, in view of various factors, for example, shading, sex, training, sexual introduction and so forth. This type of discrimination is considered exceptionally impeding to the working of society and is dreaded to shake the simple texture of the same.

Direct observations are things you see directly. For instance, if there are 10 ants walking on a table, and you count the ten ants, you can say that you have directly observed 10 ants.
here is a indirect observation so you know also
Indirect observations are ones which you do not see directly but infer from another observation. A good example is animal tracks. You may see, for instance, paw tracks in the sand. You did not see the dog that made those tracks, but you know he was there because the tracks are there. In this case you have indirectly observed the dog.

1. What is an example of Bronfenbrenner's theory and how it operates in your own life?
Rina8888 [55]

Answer:

Bronfenbrenner's theory describes an ecosystem on which every human being develops and grows.

As a child, a person is involved with his/her family, school, friends, teammates, etc. But also, there is a certain relationship with those elements affecting his/her parents, teachers, friend's families. Those elements help a child to grow, but also, those relationships change in time. And that evolution also affects a child.

Explanation:

Elements of the ecosystem:

The ecological system is composed of the following elements:

 1. Child: It is the central point of the system.
 2. The Microsystem is everything close to daily life. This includes family, school, teammates, sports.
 3. The Mesosystem describes how each one of the elements of the Microsystem interacts between them. For example, home and school, school and friends, friends and sports teams.
 4. The Exosystem refers to all those elements not directly related to the child, but have an impact on them. For example, how is the situation on the teacher's home and family? How is the mother's job situation?
 5. The Chronosystem describes how all the elements on the previous stages change through time, and how this affects a child's development.

Example:

A child was born in a single-parent home, receives lots of love, but the child is under the care of a grandmother. The parent is under an unstable work environment, the teacher is going through a divorce, and the extended family is in another country.

Eventually, in time, the parent gets married, the grandmother dies, the teacher was able to save the marriage, but also the parent's job situation improves and now can spend more time at home. One uncle moves to the same country bringing the child's cousins with him.

All those present situations, but also their future evolution, mark a child and help to his/her development, socially and emotionally speaking.
