First u have to find Y2-Y1/X2-X1 , so u will replace the number to the y and x value.
step1: subtract Y2 and Y1. then find the different of x_value, which is 14-10/-7-8
step2: after u find the differences, u will get 4/(-15) .
finally, you will get a slope. y=4/-15x+b.

Quadrilateral KLMN has vertices of K(-4,-1), L(-1,-1) M(-2,-5) and N(-4,-4) Find the length of MN
Olenka [21]

Answer:

The length of MN is \sqrt{5} units.

Step-by-step explanation:

The given Quadrilateral KLMN has vertices at K(-4,-1), L(-1,-1) M(-2,-5) and N(-4,-4).

We use the distance formula to find the length of MN.

|MN|=\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}

We plug in the values to get

|MN|=\sqrt{(-4--2)^2+(-4--5)^2}

|MN|=\sqrt{(-2)^2+(1)^2}

|MN|=\sqrt{4+1}

|MN|=\sqrt{5}

The length of MN is \sqrt{5} units.

Using chain rule, what is the derivative of sin(arcsin(x))
sergey [27]
Chain rule
y=f(g(x))
y´=(d f(gx)/d g)(d g/d x)

or

y=y(v)   and v=v(x), then dy /dx=(dy/dv)(dv/dx)

in our case:
y=sin (v)
v=arcsin(x)

dy/dv=d sin (v)/dv=cos (v)=cos(arcsin(x)
dv/dx=d arcsin(x)/dx=1/√(1-x²)

dy/dx=[cos (arcsin(x))]/√(1-x²)

Answer: d sin(arcsin(x))/dx=[cos (arcsin(x))]/√(1-x²)
