Answer: The area of the composite figure is 264 cm square.

Explanation:

In the given figure the are 5 figure are in the composition. 1 square, 3 rectangles and 1 triangle.

The area square is,

A=side\times side

So, area of part (1).

A_1=10\times 10=100cm^2

Base of the triangle is,

Base = 20-3-4-5-2=6 cm

Area of triangle is,

A=\frac{1}{2} \times base\times height

Area of part (2).

A_2=\frac{1}{2}\times 6\times 4=12cm^2

The area rectangle is,

A=length \times breadth

Area of part (3).

A_3=3\times 4=12cm^2

Area of part (4).

A_4=5\times 4=20cm^2

Area of part (5).

A_4=20\times 6=120cm^2

Total area is sum of all area of all parts.

A=A_1+A_2+A_3+A_4+A_5

A=100+12+12+20+120=264cm^2

Therefore the area of the composite figure is 264 cm square.

The length of line in green = 5 cm
the length of line in yellow = 3 cm
the length of line in red = 6 cm
the length of line in white = 16 cm
the total area = 100 + 12 + 12 + 20 + 24 + 96 = 264 cm2

The slope of the line passing through the points (0, 0) and (2, 3) is
MArishka [77]
You can use the equation to find the slope of a line given two points. This equation is y2 - y1 divided by x2 minus x1. The y2 is represented by the y coordinate of the second ordered pair, but it really doesn't matter, either way you get the same answer. The same way the x2 is represented by the x coordinate of the second ordered pair. For this problem, I will just use the normal coordinates. So the second y coordinate is 3. 3 -0 = 3. So your numerator is 3. The second x coordinate is 2. 2-0 = 2. So the denominator is 2. This is 3/2. So your slope would be 3/2. Hope this helps. :D Let me know if you didn't understand something in my explanation.
