⇒The lines are perpendicular lines and∠1 and ∠2 both are vertically opposite angles [ pair of opposite angles made by two intersecting lines].

⇒∠1 and ∠2 are also a right angle.

⇒ ∠1=∠2=90°

⇒∠1+∠2 =180° [sum of two right angles is 180°]
