How many grams of aluminum hydroxide are obtained from 16.2 g of aluminum sulfide?

Biology
1 answer:
nadezda [96]3 years ago
8 0
Number of moles Aluminium sulfide
1 mole of sulfide contains 150 g
Therefore; 16.2/150
               = 0.108 moles
The mole ratio of Al2S3 : Al(OH)3 is 1:2
Therefore; moles of Aluminium hydroxide will be;
  = (0.108 × 2)
  = 0.216 moles
But, 1 mole of Al(OH)3 contains 77 g
Therefore, the mass of aluminium hydroxide is
   0.216 moles × 77
= 16.632 g

enyata [817]
Yes, Only bacteria can convert molecular nitrogen, into a form which can be utilized by other living beings such as plants. The nitrogen fixed by the bacteria, by this process, become available to the plants, which uptakes it, for their own growth, and is also accumulated in their seeds. Further, leguminous plants have nitrogen-fixing bacteria associated with them in synergy. They provide the plant with additional nitrogen, and in exchange obtain nutrients from the plant, for their growth and division.

A simplified model of protein synthesis is shown here: How might this model be revised to show a more accurate depiction of prot
Nady [450]

Answer:

The correct options are:

Prior to process 1, DNA should copy itself to allow the cell to divide.

Between processes 1 and 2, the mRNA must be modified before leaving the nucleus.

Explanation:

For eukaryotes, the mRNA is made in the nucleus from the DNA. This process in known as transcription. The process of making proteins from the mRNA takes place in the ribososmes of the cytoplasm. This process is known as translation. The mRNA has to be modified before it is transported for translation. Otherwise, the mRNA will be degraded by the enzymes of the nucleus.
