Answer:

there were 82 adult tickets and  32 children tickets that were sold

Step-by-step explanation:

x = adult's tickets

y = children's tickets

\left \{ {{x + y = 114} \atop {11x + 6y = 1094}} \right.

x + y = 114

y = -x +114

replace y by -x +114 in the second equation

11x + 6y = 1094

11x + 6(-x + 114) = 1094

11x -6x + 684 = 1094

5x + 684 = 1094

5x = 410

x = 82

x + y = 114

82 + y = 114

y = 32

Evaluate the function rule for the given value. y = 15 • 3^x for x = –3
kotegsom [21]

Answer:

5/9

Step-by-step explanation:

y = 15 • 3^x

Let x = -3

y = 15 • 3^(-3)

The negative means the exponent goes to the denominator

y = 15 * 1/3^3

  = 15 * 1/27

  =15/27

Divide the top and bottom by 3

 =5/9
