The men were selected to spread the gospel message of Jesus to all nations. The twelve disciples were trained to be leaders by Jesus for three years, and they include; Peter, Matthew, James, John, Andrew, Philip, Simon, Bartholomew, James (the younger), Judas, Jude, and Thomas.
