Rays are named according to their endpoints, the first one named is the "starting" endpoint, the second one is the one that will continue on into infinity.  Therefore, ray BA has a terminal endpoint at B and goes through point A into infinity.  Ray AB has a terminal endpoint at A and goes through point B into infinity.  Definitely NOT the same ray.

What is the value of X?
scZoUnD [109]

Answer:

x = 5

Step-by-step explanation:

ABC is an isosceles triangle

So

<A = <C = 73

<B = 180 - 2 * 73

<B = 180 - 146

<B =  34

Given <B = 6x +4

So

6x + 4 = 34

6x = 30

 x = 5

Reil [10]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the constant of proportionality between y and x, divide  \frac{y}{x} for all given values of the chart. If you get the same number, then that is the constant. If they are all different numbers, then one does not exist for that function.

Using the method above, you should get:

Chart A = 2/5

Chart B = 1/5 (Correct Answer!)

Chart C = N/A

Hope this helps!

For f(x) = 4x+1 and g(x)=x²-5, find (f-g)(x).
SSSSS [86.1K]

Answer: -x² + 4x + 6

Given:

f(x) = 4x + 1

g(x) = x² - 5

Solve:

= (f - g)(x)

= f(x) - g(x)

= 4x + 1 - (x² - 5)

= 4x + 1 - x² + 5

= -x² + 4x + 6

Lin is running on a track. Lin runs 5 laps around a track in 6 minutes. How many laps per minute is that? (Find both Unit Rates)
grandymaker [24]
They got the 1.2 minutes by taking the total number of minutes (6) and dividing them by the number of laps run (5). So 6 divided by 5 gives you the 1.2.
