Volume of the small truck = 554.54 cubic ft

Solution:

Given data:

Length of the small truck = 11\frac{1}{13} ft

Width of the small truck = 7\frac{5}{12} ft

Height of the small truck = 6\frac{3}{4} ft

Volume of the small truck = length × width × height

                                           $=11\frac{1}{13}\times7\frac{5}{12}\times 6\frac{3}{4}

Let us change the mixed fraction into improper fraction.

                                          $=\frac{11\times 13 + 1}{13}\times\frac{7 \times 12 + 5}{12}\times \frac{6 \times 4 + 3}{4}

                                          $=\frac{144}{13}\times\frac{89}{12}\times \frac{27}{4}

                                          $=\frac{7209}{13}

                                          = 554. 54 cubic ft

Volume of the small truck = 554.54 cubic ft

OverLord2011 [107]
First find the area of two sides (Length*Height)*2 sides, 70. Then find the area of adjacent sides (Width*Height)*2 sides, 60.9. And then find the area of ends (Length*Width)*2 ends, 87. Lastly add the three areas together to find the surface area, 217.9.
