Use cosine rule to find  b

b^2 = 6^2 + 11^2 - 2*6*11cos 109  =   199.97

b =  14.1  to nearest tenth.

now use sine rule to find the value of < A

14.14 / sin 109 = 6 /  sin A

<A =  24 degrees

<C = 180 - 24 - 109  = 47 degrees

Its  A

Answer:

Option A is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: a = 6 , c = 11 ,  B = 109°

To find : b , ∠A , ∠C

We use Law of cosine and Law of sines.

Law of Cosine used for calculating one side of a triangle when the angle opposite and the other two sides are known.

b² = a² + c² - 2ac.cos B

Law of Sines is a rule relating the sides and angles of any triangle.

\frac{a}{sin\,A}=\frac{b}{sin\,B}=\frac{c}{sin\,C}

Using Law of Cosines, we get

b² = 6² + 11² - 2 × 6 × 11 × cos 109

b² = 199.97

b = 14.1 (nearest tenth)

Now using Law of sines, we get

\frac{a}{sin\,A}=\frac{b}{sin\,B}

\frac{6}{sin\,A}=\frac{14.1}{sin\,109}

sin\,A=\frac{0.95}{14.1}\times6

A=sin^{-1}\,(0.404)

∠ A = 23.8° = 24° (nearest degree)

Using Angle sum property of triangle,

∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°

∠C = 180 - (24 + 109)

∠C = 47°

Therefore, Option A is correct.

in a parade, each tricycle and bicycle have one rider.There are 64 wheels and 28 riders.How many tricycles are there? can you sh
Ann [662]

Answer:

8 tricycles

Step-by-step explanation:

Make a system of equations

Let t represent tricycles, and b represent bicycles

We know that tricycles have 3 wheels, bicycles have 2, and there are a total of 64 wheels

We also know each has one rider, and there are a total of 28 riders

3t+2b=64

t+b=28

Subtract t from both sides in the second equation. This will allow us to use substitution

b= -t+28

Substitute -t+28 in for b in the first equation

3t+2b=64

3t+2(-t+28)=64

Distribute the 2

3t + 2*-t+ 2* 28 =64

3t-2t+56=64

Combine like terms

t+56=64

Subtract 56 from both sides

t=8

There were 8 tricycles

You and two friends rent a hotel room that costs $30 so you both put in $10 each later that night the owner of the hotel realize
Gennadij [26K]
The dollar didn't go anywhere! The question isn't correct because the money the bellhop stole is supposed to be subtracted, not added. So if we subtract $2 we have $25, and that's how much money the owner got, the men got $3 back and the bellboy got $2.

So the owner gets $25, the men get $3 and the bellboy gets $2, and that equals 30.
