Answer: The Europeans used this tactic so they can get their way. The different countries needed to grow a strong and mighty empires. Columbus committed genocide and mass murder to get the land the Native Americans had in the Caribbean. These were ways Europeans used as great ways to grow their empires. They had to justify their reasons for this cause.
