Hydrogen ions. Hydrogen ions are pumped across the membrane during electron transport. They are giving around the membrane by ability of energetic delivery. This establishes an electrochemical ability around the membrane like the single responsible for the action of nerve cells. Nerve cells use Potassium ions.

All of the following contributes to turbulent blood flow except A) when there are irregularities in the vessel wall. B) at high
GaryK [48]

All of the following contributes to turbulent blood flow except third and fourth heart sounds.

Explanation:

The blood flow in human body is always described to be laminar. Some conditions cause the high flow when there is an ascending aorta. This causes the laminar flow of blood into turbulent. When this occurs the flow of the blood will not be smooth and linear.

When the kinetic energy in the fluid flow increases the turbulent flow of blood occurs. Both the magnitude and the direction of the flow changes in this type of blood flow. These are caused by the irregularities in the vessel walls, flow rates to ne higher and opening of the valves of the heart.

Above 380C and below OoC the rate of photosynthesis decreases. Propose a hypothesis to explain why this occurs.
Effectus [21]

Answer:

Enzyme activity decrease at these temperatures.

Explanation:

Photosynthesis is facilitated by the action of various enzymes and involves light and dark reactions. In light reactions chlorophyll absorbs sunlight and creates ATP AND NADPH. In dark reactions carbon is fixed using the ATP and NADPH.

The efficiency of all these activities depends on the activity of enzymes which depends on the temperature. The optimum temperature range where the enzyme activity is optimal is about 10°c - 20°c. At low temperatures and high temperatures enzyme activity is less efficient.

At a temperature above 38°c and below 0°c enzyme activity decreases.

Slav-nsk [51]
A contusion occurs when a strong blow or repeated blows from an object struck the body, crushing the underlying muscle fibres and connective tissues without breaking the skin.
A contusion can vary in severity depending on the object and location of the injury. For example a contusion to the brain may cause a concussion that can cause serious symptoms that require immediate medical attention
