Both are right b/c like sean says you can add zero and itll still be -100 but candice is also right b/c because you can add any # to that -100 but you can also add a negative # to get it back to -100. for example: -100+23= -77 but if you also add a negative 23 it would be right back to -100.

Han recorded the number of pages that he read each day for five days. the dot plot shows his data. pages the mean, or average, f
Paul [167]

If the mean of the data set is 32.6. Then the number of pages he read in 5 days is 163.

<h3>What is Mean?</h3>

Mean is simply defined as the average of the given set of numbers. The mean is considered as one of the measures of central tendencies in statistics. The mean is said to be an arithmetic mean. It is the ratio of the sum of the observation to the total number of observations.

Han recorded the number of pages that he read each day for five days.

If the mean of the data set is 32.6 pages. Then the total number of the pages he read till now, will be

Let the total number of the pages be x. Then we have

\rm \dfrac{x}{5} = 32.6\\\\x  \ = 5 \times 32.6 \\\\x  \ = 163

More about the mean link is given below.

identify the equation of a line in slope-intercept form that is perpendicular to y = -1/3 x + 2 and passes through (2, 10)
Masteriza [31]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

y = -1/3x + 2

m1 = -1/3

Slope of the perpendicular line = -1/m1 = -1 ÷ \frac{-1}{3} = -1*\frac{3}{-1} = 3

Equation of the required line : y = mx +b

y = 3x + b

Plugin x = 2 and y 10 in the above equation

10 = 3*2+ b

10 = 6 +b

10 - 6 = b

b = 4

Equation: y = 3x + 4
