13n - 6p - 11n = 2p

2n - 6p (+6p) = 2p (+ 6p)

2n/2 = 8p/2

n = 8p/2

hope this helps

<span>Answer: Use properties of logarithm to expand the logarithmic expression as much as possible. Where possible, evaluate logarithmic expressions without using calculator. log4(4/x) = log4(4) - log4(x) = 1 - log4(x) ------------------------------------------------------ Evaluate the expression without using a calculator. log7 1/root:7 log7(1/sqrt(7)) = log7(1) - log7(sqrt(7)) = 0 -(1/2)log7(7) = 0-1/2 = -1/2</span>

How to multiply to the n<br>earest ten
Tcecarenko [31]
I'm not sure what you mean by this, but if you mean rounding, I got an answer.

Say you're rounding 24 to 30.
24 is closer to 20 than 30.

But if you were rounding 25 to 30, 25 would be closer to 30, not 20.
I guess it's kind of confusing.

A sphere has a volume of 1,436 in3. What is its radius?
Tpy6a [65]

Answer:

7

Step-by-step explanation:

So first you would have to know the formula for the volume of a sphere to solve for the radius. The formula is:

V=4 /3πr3

so now we plug in the variables

1,436=4/3πr3

divide by pi

457.09=4/3r3

divide by 4/3 (multiply by the reciprocal which is 3/4)

342.82=r3

Take the third root to get r by itself

r=6.998 or 7 if you will.

Charlie paid 660 for 6 shirts and four belts. One shirt costs three times as much as one belt. If Sam bought 5 shirts and 2 suck
Cerrena [4.2K]

Sam would have to pay $510 to buy 5 shirts and 2 suck belts.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let,

Cost of one shirt = x

Cost of one belt = y

According to given statement;

6x+4y = 660    Eqn 1

x = 3y          Eqn 2

Putting value of x from Eqn 2 in Eqn 1

6(3y)+4y=660\\18y+4y=660\\22y=660

Dividing both sides by 22

\frac{22y}{22}=\frac{660}{22}\\y=30

Putting y=30 in Eqn 2

x=3(30)\\x=90

One shirt costs $90 and one belt cost $30.

Price of 5 shirts = 90*5 = $450

Price of 2 belts = 30*2 = $60

Total = 450+60 = $510

Sam would have to pay $510 to buy 5 shirts and 2 suck belts.
