The problem 10x10

10
X10
———
100

The top 0 has lots of friends so 0 goes over to the other 0’s house and they times each other. And 0 times any number is 0 so you put a 0 under the answer line.
Then the top 0 goes over to the bottom 1’s house and they times each other. And 0 times any number is 0 ( because if you have 0 of anything then you don’t have any) so you put a 0 under the answer line next to the 0 YOY put before so now you have 00
Then the top 1 goes over to the bottoms 1’s house and they times each other. And 1 times any thing is the other number ( because if you have 1 of anything then you don’t add anything)
So the you put a 1 by the 00

So your answer is 100!!!

In a recent poll of 1,500 randomly selected eligible voters, only 525 (35 percent) said that they did not vote in the last elect
irakobra [83]

Answer:

This is a response bias

Step-by-step explanation:

Response bias is a general term for a wide range of tendencies for participants to respond inaccurately or falsely to questions. These biases are prevalent in research involving participant self-report, such as structured interviews or surveys. Response biases can have a large impact on the validity of questionnaires or surveys.

This is exactly what happens here in the excercise, the result of the poll do not match the vote count, both results do not match, therefore, we can see that a lot of people lied in the poll or simply did not answer it very well.

Which of the following vectors are orthogonal to (-1,3)?
snow_tiger [21]
Any vector that is a multiple of (3, 1) will be orthogonal. These include
.. A (-6, -2)
.. D (3, 1)

_____
The dot-product of these with (-1, 3) is zero:
(-6*-1 +-2*3) = 6 -6 = 0
(3*-1 +1*3) = -3 +3 = 0

You can make a vector orthogonal to a 2-D vector by swapping the coordinates and negating one of them. When you swap the elements of (-1, 3) you get (3, -1). It is usually convenient to negate the one that is already negative, so that would give you (3, 1) as the orthogonal vector.

Simplfy the fractions 5/20 and 9/12 so they have the same
snow_tiger [21]

If you reduce these fractions into simplest form 5/20 is 1/4 because the numerator and denominator can be divided by 5. 9/12 reduced is 3/4 because the numerator an denominator can be divided by 3.

6.2 Cool down: what are the circle coordinates?
poizon [28]

A line segment connecting two points on the circle and going through the center is called a diameter of the circle. Assume that (x,y) are the coordinates of a point on the circle shown. The equation of a circle with center (h,k) and radius r units is (x−h)2+(y−k)2=r2 .
