The answer to this question is oil spills for they are the usual cause of marine or aquatic organisms to die for there are factories that dump these in water because it is a way for them to expel the oil from the factories because it is much easier than to have or find a more convenient place for them to dump it. This contributes to water pollution, making aquatic organisms to die because of its chemical components.

You have a formula : V= \pi r^2h. You just have to apply it. It would gives :

V= \pi (2)^2(8)
V=32 \pi
V=100.48cm^3

Now, use your mind. How many would be needed to make 2000 cm3.

\frac{2000}{100.48}
=19.94 = 20

Therefore <span>the minimum number of identical containers that Tim would need to make 2,000 cm3 of ice is 20 (option D).

Hope this helps !
