Answer:

Density of the object = 3.0 g/cm3

Explanation:

<u>Given:</u>

Mass of the object = 9.6 g

Initial volume of liquid, V1 = 10.0 ml

Final volume, V2 = 13.2 ml

<u>To determine:</u>

the density of the object

<u>Explanation:</u>

Density of an object is the mass occupied by it per unit volume

i.e. Density = \frac{Mass}{Volume} \\

here volume of the object = volume of the liquid displaced

i.e. V = V2-V1 = 13.2 -1 0.0 = 3.20 ml

since 1 ml = 1 cm3

V = 3.20 cm3

Density = \frac{9.6 g}{3.20 cm3} = 3.0 g/cm3

Density = mass/ volume
mass= 9.6 g
Volume of the object = 13.2-10.0 =3.2 ml=3.2 cm³
1ml =1 cm³

D=9.6g/3.2 cm³ = 3.0 g/cm³

yuradex [85]

Answer:

357.475

Explanation:

First you need periodic table and you have to look for mass

Fe = 3 x 55.845 = 167.535

P = 2  x 30.97 = 61.94

o = 4 x 2 so 8 oxygen =  8 x 16 = 128

add all and you get 357.475

An aluminum sample has a mass of 80.1 g and a density of 2.70g/cm3 . According to the date to what number of significant figures
DIA [1.3K]
80.1 g* (1 cm^(3)/ 2.70 g)= 29.666666... cm^(3).

The calculated volume should have 3 significant figures, so the final answer is 2.97*10^(1) cm^(3)

Hope this helps~
