Answer:

There are many reasons to why the British rule became so powerless but the few of the reasons are as follows.

Explanation:

The loss of Power in the Caribbeans and other colonies:

British rule flourished in the early 1700's to the mid of 18th century, as they had more power over the colonies, along with that the British rule was aided by there allies to support them in all kind of ways( In war and finance). But, after the french and Indian war started out, the British was unable to hold off the opposition. As the slaves began to campaign about there basic rights and went on to fight the British armies, after out numbering them.

Having no allies left:

The British rule was all but gone when there allies started backing off, due to political and financial instabilities inside there own territories. It left the Great Britain all alone to deal with the Business. And they were unable to do so because France now had great power and resources to spend against them.

Rise of Campaigns and freedom fighters:

Most of the slaves and the minorities now demanded freedom. As they did not wanted the Englishmen to command them, nor they wanted to spend all there lives working inside the plantations.
