In this question, it is given that the measurement of angles USW and TSR are 7x-34 and 4x+9 .

First we have to find the relationship between those two angles .

And these angles are vertical opposite angles which are congruent .

Therefore

m \angle USW = m \angle TSR

7x-34 = 4x+9
\\
3x = 43
\\
x = 14.33

Therefore measurement of angle USW is

=7(14.33)-34 =66.31 degree

900 students attend Ridge wood Junior High School. 25% of students bring their lunch to school everyday. How many students broug
Mila [183]

Answer:

225 students

Step-by-step explanation:

Total number of students = 900 students

percent that bring lunch to school everyday = 25%

Number of student that bring lunch to school = 25% of 900

Number of student that bring lunch to school = 0.25 * 900

Number of student that bring lunch to school = 225

Hence 225 students bring lunch to school everyday

Q(–1, a) is 4 5 units away from P(3, –2). Find all possible values of a
Natali [406]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the formula for calculating the distance between 2 points.

D = √(x2-x1)²+(y2-y1)²

Given

D = 45 units

The coordinates Q(–1, a) and P(3,2)

45 = √(3-(-1))²+(-2-a)²

45 = √4²+(-2-a)²

45 = √16+(-2-a)²

45² = 16+(-2-a)²

45² = 16+4+4a+a²

45² = 20+4a+a²

a²-4a+20-2025 = 0

a²+4a-2005 = 0

a = -4±√16+4(2005)/2

a = -4±√16+8020/2

a = -4±√8036/2

a =  -4±90/2

a = -4+90/2

a = 86/2

a = 43

The possible values of a is 43

Find the slope of the line that passes through the pair of points (2,6) , (7,0)
iVinArrow [24]
Slope is defined as the change in y-coordinate over the change in x, so if you find the change then you can find the slope.
\frac{change~in~y}{change ~in~x} =\frac{0-6}{7-2}=\frac{-6}{5}
Thus, your slope is -6/5.

An experiment is performed where a 6-sided die is rolled and then a 3-color spinner is spun. The possible outcomes for each even
Galina-37 [17]

It should be noted that the sample space for the experiment is {1R, 1B, 1Y, 2R, 2B, 2Y, 3R, 3B, 3Y, 4R, 4B. 4Y. 5R, 5B, 5Y, 6R, 6B, 6Y}

<h3>What is a sample space?</h3>

A sample space is a set of potential results from a random experiment. The letter "S" is used to denote the sample space. Events are the subset of possible experiment results. Depending on the experiment, a sample area may contain a variety of outcomes.

Total number of outcomes in this experiment = 6 × 3 = 18

Hence, the sample space will be:

{1R, 1B, 1Y, 2R, 2B, 2Y, 3R, 3B, 3Y, 4R, 4B. 4Y. 5R, 5B, 5Y, 6R, 6B, 6Y}
