3 because you have to add 1.5 to -30 and that is 28.5 and then divide that by -9.5 and a negative plus a negative is always positive so it would be 3 (positive)

-9.5x-1.5>-30

Add 1.5 to both sides
-9.5x> -28.5

Divide both sides by -9.5
x<3
Remember a negative divided by a negative becomes a positive.
AND the inequality sign will flip from x>3 to x<3

ANSWER x<3

Hope this helped!! :)

The Rawlins family has travelled 600 km on their vacation. This has taken them 8 hours. If they continued at the same rate, how
spin [16.1K]

Answer:

B. 28 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN :- Time taken by family to travel 600 km is 8 hours

CALCULATIONS :-

To calculate the time to travel 2100 km, we need to calculate distance traveled in 1 hour

Distance traveled in 1 hour = 600 km ÷ 8

                                              = 75 km

Time required to travel 2100 km = 2100 ÷ 75

                                                         = 28 hours

Therefore time required to travel 2100 km is 28 hours.

Find the probalitywhen a pair of 8-sided fair die is rolled and the sum of the roll is greater than 9
Tresset [83]

Odd Numbers : 1, 3, 5, 7 = 4 numbers

Total numbers on 8-sided die = 8

P(rolling an odd number) = 4/8 = 1/2

Die is defined as ceasing to live, exist, or disappear. An example of this is pulling a plant out of the ground by its roots. An example of death is when a person's heart stops and the brain stops working. stop living; dead out.

Use ``die of'' when someone dies of direct causes. We use ``die of'' when someone died from an indirect cause. "die by" is used when someone dies from something. He died of cancer.
