is included free of charge, whether or not pets are allowed, the number of bedrooms, and the distance to the campus. Describe the cases in the data set, give the number of variables, and specify whether eaclh variable is categorical or quantitative.
1. Cable is Categorical Data. Since its variable is Yes or No.
2. Pets is Categorical Data. Since its variable is Yes or No.
3. Number of bedrooms is quantitative data. Since it include the number of bedrooms.
4. Distance to the campus is quantitative data. Since it include the distance which is in numeric form.
The data sets which does not include numerical variables and it has different categories of variable is known as <em>Categorical data</em>. Example: "Gender" has two categories male and female.
And <em>Quantitative data</em> is the data whose variable is in the numeric form. Example: Number of present students, etc.
