A 500 turn circular-loop coil 16.0 cm in diameter is initially aligned so that its axis is parallel to the Earth's magnetic fiel

d. In 2.89 ms, the coil is flipped so that its axis is perpendicular to the Earth's magnetic field. If an average voltage of 0.170 V is thereby induced in the coil, what is the value of the Earth's magnetic field at that location? BEarth = 1 µT

"if a 20 and a 40 ohm resistor are wired in parallel to a 20v source, what will be the current in the 40 ohm resistor?"
choli [55]

In parallel, neither resistor knows about the other one, and they have no effect on each other.

Each resistor is connected straight to the battery terminals. If the battery is hefty enough, it supplies current to each resistor as if the other one weren't there.

Current through a resistor = (voltage across it) / (its resistance).

Current = (20 V) / (40 ohms)

Current = 1/2 Ampere.

Compare positive and negative feedback mechanisms.
NeX [460]

Answer:

In positive feedback mechanism, the output is fed back to the system which further increases the output. Hence, it is known as positive feedback because it amplifies the output.

In the negative feedback mechanism, the output is fed back to the system which further decreases the the output. Hence, it is known as negative feedback because it reduces the output.
