Six less than seven times a number: 7n - 6
eight more than five times a number: 5n + 8
both angles are corresponding, the corresponding angles are equal.
so
7n - 6 = 5n + 8
2n = 14
  n =7

so

7n - 6 = 7(7) - 6 = 49 - 6 = 43
5n + 8 = 5(7) + 8 = 35 + 8 = 43

answer
each angle = 43 degrees

Answer:

(2x+3) y (3x+5)

Step-by-step explanation:

For this exercise we have that the volume is

V = 6x ^ 3 + 31X ^ 2 + 53x + 30

H = X + 2

The formula for the Volume its

V = H * L * W

for find L and W (width and length) we divide V / H = L * W

So,

\frac{V}{H} =\frac{6X^{3}+31X^{2}+53X+30 }{X+2}=(2x + 3) * (3x + 5)\\

this division is in the attachment

so, L * W = (2x + 3) * (3x + 5)

Write an equation for the line parallel to the given line that contains <br> C(4,8);y=-3x+4
Brrunno [24]
Parallel line means they have the same slope
y = mx + b
where m = slope
y = -3 + 4
here the slope is negative 3
y = -3x + b
plug in (4, 8)
8 = -3(4) + b
b = 8 + 12
b = 20

The answer is y = -3x + 20

Find an equation of the circle that satisfies the given conditions. Endpoints of a diameter are P(−2, 1) and Q(8, 9)
IrinaK [193]

Answer:

Equation of the circle   (x-3)²+(y-5)²=(6.4)²

                             x² -6x +9 +y² -10y +25 = 40.96

Step-by-step explanation:

<u><em>Step(i):-</em></u>

Given endpoints of diameter P(−2, 1) and Q(8, 9)

Centre of circle = midpoint of diameter

                   Centre = (\frac{-2+8}{2} ,\frac{1+9}{2} )

               Centre (h, k) = (3 , 5)

<u><em>Step(ii):-</em></u>

The distance of two end points

PQ = \sqrt{(x_{2}-x_{1} )^{2} +(y_{2} -y_{1} )^{2}  }

PQ= \sqrt{(8+2 )^{2} +(8 )^{2}  }

PQ = √164 = 12.8

Diameter    d = 2r

                 radius r = d/2

                Radius r = 6.4

<u><em>Final answer:-</em></u>

Equation of the circle

                    (x-h)²+(y-k)² = r²

                   (x-3)²+(y-5)²=(6.4)²

x² -6x +9 +y² -10y +25 = 40.96

x² -6x  +y² -10y  = 40.96-34

x² -6x  +y² -10y -7= 0
