The tundra biome is the one of the coldest biome of the world. This exhibit heavy snow precipitation. This is typically treeless plains. The environmental conditions are harsh for the survival of both plants and animals.

The woolly lousewort is a plant that is adapted to survive in tundra biome. It exhibit dense hairs that basically surrounds it's flowers. These hairs typically attract the available heat energy from the sunlight. Thus maintains it's temperature. It keeps the flower in the warm state and keeps it alive in harsh winter climate of the tundra biome.
