You just have to plug in 5 for n.

-2^5(1)

In Prof. Hayes's class, the 11 students had the following scores on the last midterm.
Tamiku [17]

Outliers are values that are either extremely large compared to the other numbers in the data set or extremely small.

In this data set the values tend to cluster closest through 75 to 95.

15 is considerable smaller then 75

195 is considerably bigger then 95

The outliers in this data set are:

15, 195

Hope this helped!

Oksanka [162]

Answer:

Your answer would be the greater symbol (<).

Step-by-step explanation:

It is the greater symbol because the question said to correctly compare the numbers. If you look at the equation the numbers are as follows: 0.9__1.1

1.1 is greater than 0.9 so your answer is therefore the greater symbol.

I hope this helps you!

Have a great day! :)

Complete the point-slope Equation Of the line through (-9,6) And (-7,-8)
grandymaker [24]
You first need the slope.  Find it with the slope formula: \frac{ y_{2}- y_{1} }{ x_{2}- x_{1} }.  With your values plugged in you'd have \frac{-8-6}{-7-(-9)} which is -14/2 or -7.  Now use one of those points, whichever one you want (they will both give you the same result since they are both on the same line!), to rewrite the equation in point-slope form, which happens to be y- y_{1} =m(x- x_{1} ).  Ours would look like this, then: y-6= -7(x+9)
