Why is the point (4, 3) there but not mentioned??
Anyways, the point that P (3, 0) is after rotating 180° about the origin is (-3, 0).
btw, for 180 rotations about O, just take negative value of (x, y)--> (-x, -y)
That way -(3), -(0) becomes (-3, 0)

Simplify the expression c^-6 * d^4/ c^-16 * d^14
Naily [24]

Answer:

\dfrac{c^{10}}{d^{10}}

Step-by-step explanation:

Although the way you wrote problem, this is not what it looks like, I think this is what you meant.

\dfrac{c^{-6} \times d^{4}}{c^{-16} \times d^{14}} =

= \dfrac{c^{-6}}{c^{-16}} \times \dfrac{d^{4}}{d^{14}}

= c^{-6 - (-16)} \times d^{4 - 14}

= c^{-6 + 16} \times d^{-10}

= c^{10} \times d^{-10}

= \dfrac{c^{10}}{d^{10}}

Bilal's fishing line was on a spool with a radius of 4cm. Suddenly, a fish pulled on the line, and the spool spun 16 times befor
Aleks [24]

First, I'd like to say that this question is flawed because the diameter of the spool changes as you pull the line out. Some would argue it's negligible I suppose.

At any rate, assuming there's a magic spool where the diameter doesn't change, let's find the cicumference so we can find the length of one wrap around the spool.

circumference = 2*pi*r = 2 * pi * 4cm = about 25.133 cm

Now if it turns 16 times we'll have 16 times the circumference.

16 * (25.133 cm)

= 402.128 cm
