Your CNS (Central Nervous System) includes both the brain and spinal cord. The brain produces thoughts and, in this case, the ability to think logically. The CNS also transfers thoughts through the spinal cord to control movement and sensations. The Peripheral Nervous System is every part of the nervous system that doesn't include the brain and spinal cord. The PNS is divided into two parts, the Autonomic Nervous System and the Somatic Nervous System. The SNS controls skeletal muscles and allows for voluntary movement. The ANS is involuntary and keeps internal organs moving and working.
