Answer:

A or C

Explanation:

Xylem consists of several different types of cells: fibers for support, parenchyma for storage, and tracheary elements for the transport of water. The tracheary elements are arranged as long tubes through which columns of water are raised. In a tree trunk, the innermost part of the wood is dead but structurally strong xylem, while the outer part consists of living xylem, and beyond it, layers of cambium and phloem.

Two reasons why it is easy to harvest perlemoen
lianna [129]

Perlemoen is reasonably easy to take available of the ocean and do not really required huge and expensive equipment. The poachers take out millions of rands worth of Perlemoen with relatively simple and cheap equipment such as wet suites, googles and flippers. The most expensive equipment they use are their boats and vehicles. In comparison with the lucrative industry the costs of poaching are low. Perlemoen are often the smaller, younger abalone of the species that are taken because they are quite simply and easier to harvest.

1. The younger perlemoen are found closer to the shoreline and often bunched together and they can get a whole whack of them at one spot.

2. The strandlopers harvested the perlemoen from the rocks during low tide without the need for diving.

What problems can you identify that would occur if we did not have the technology to help with identifying the age of the Earth?
aliya0001 [1]

Answer:

Earthquakes

Explanation:

This would happen because we have devices such as seismographs to record the motion of the ground during an earthquake. Without that, we wouldn't know how big the earthquake is and how to prepare for survival.
