Explanation:

First of all we need to know the concept of Oligopoly Market. An Oligopoly Market is a firm structure in which many firms are present in the same industry but only few or one or two firms dominate.

So I will take example of Khaadi, which is a brand in Pakistan in the textile industry. There are a lot of other textile companies in there but Khaadi contributes the highest share in the market. The reason that Khaadi fits into the Oligopoly Market structure is its market share and the differentiated products in terms of stitching and sewing. Hand made products of Khaadi gives it an edge.

There are many ads of Khaadi being on aired on the television and the print media. There are a lot of billboards and hoardings of models wearing Khaadi's brand.

The interdependence between Khaadi and other rival firms is, they have both stitched and unstitched variety of fabric, Price range for all the competing firms are almost same but Khaadi has always an edge of being the provider of hand made fabric.

Angus Company agreed to sell goods for Longhorn Company on consignment, but wasn't willing to take ownership of the goods in cas
vladimir2022 [97]

Answer: D. Longhorn owns the inventory and should report it on its balance sheet.

Explanation:

Goods to be sold on consignment for a company means a company is selling goods for another company and will be paid for their services.

In that case, the company being sold for will retain the ownership of the goods because the company that is selling it for them is simply providing a service.

Angus in this scenario are simply holding the goods to sell it and so do not own the goods. Longhorn should therefore record it in their own books as inventory.

Linda O’Shay deposited $30,000 in a savings account as a perpetual trust. She believes the account will earn 7% annual interest
sweet [91]

Answer:

The uniform amount that can be used for scholaship, every year, first being at the end of the first year is $1,745.14

Explanation:

Hi, in order to find the amount that can be used to pay for school so the balance would last forever, given that $30,000 were left in the savings account, we need to solve for A the following equation.

PresentValue=\frac{A((1+r_{1} )^{n}-1) }{r_{1}(1+r_{1})^{n} } +\frac{A}{(r_{2})} \frac{1}{(1+r_{1})^n}

Where;

r1 = 7%

r2 = 5%

n = 10

PresentValue = $30,000

Everything should look like this:

30,000=\frac{A((1+0.07)^{10}-1) }{0.07(1+0.07)^{10} } +\frac{A}{(0.05)} \frac{1}{(1+0.07)^10}

30,000=A(7.023581541)+A(10.16698584)

30,000=A(17.19056738)

A=1,745.14

So, uniform amount that could be used for the student scholarship each year, beginning at the end of the first year and continuing forever is $1,745.14

Best of luck.
