<span>We know that p is the statement x = 4 and that q is y = -2 . Then we have that the statement "If x = 4 then y = -2" can be written as "if p then q" . Then we can represent "If p then q" as p ---> .</span>

Answer:

p → q

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :Let p: x = 4 Let q: y = −2

To Find:Which represents "If x = 4, then y = −2”?

Solution :

1. p ∧ q represents “p and q”

2.p ∨ q represents “p or q (or both)

3.p → q represents “if p then q”

4. p ↔ q represents “p if and only if q"

So, we can see that p → q represents “if p then q" represents "If x = 4, then y = −2”

Thus Option C is correct p → q

What to do ??<br> i need help please <br> asap <br> one question left
maks197457 [2]

Answer: (x^{\frac{2}{7}})(x^{\frac{3}{5}})

Step-by-step explanation:

If you took the nth root of x, it is the same as raising x to the power of 1/n. Therefore:

\sqrt[7]{x^{2} }  = (x^{2} )^{1/7} = (x^{\frac{2}{7}})\\\sqrt[5]{x^{3} }  = (x^{3} )^{1/5} = (x^{\frac{3}{5}})

And multiply:

(x^{\frac{2}{7}})(x^{\frac{3}{5}})

Mike had 280 dollars to spend on 8 books.After buying them he had 16 dollars. How much did each book cost?
adell [148]
Well, you can't really determine the price of 1 book, but you can find out the average cost.

280 - 16 = 8x (x = cost of 1 book)
264 = 8x
264/8 = 8x/8
33 = x

So the average cost of one book is 33$( A little expensive if I do say so myself)
Hope this helped!
