Answer:

Fetal stage

Explanation:

From 9–12 weeks, the sex organs begin to differentiate. At about 16 weeks, the fetus is approximately 4.5 inches long. Fingers and toes are fully developed, and fingerprints are visible. By the time the fetus reaches the sixth month of development (24 weeks), it weighs up to 1.4 pounds. Hearing has developed, so the fetus can respond to sounds. The internal organs, such as the lungs, heart, stomach, and intestines, have formed enough that a fetus born prematurely at this point has a chance to survive outside of the mother’s womb. Throughout the fetal stage the brain continues to grow and develop, nearly doubling in size from weeks 16 to 28. Around 36 weeks, the fetus is almost ready for birth. It weighs about 6 pounds and is about 18.5 inches long, and by week 37 all of the fetus’s organ systems are developed enough that it could survive outside the mother’s uterus without many of the risks associated with premature birth. The fetus continues to gain weight and grow in length until approximately 40 weeks. By then, the fetus has very little room to move around and birth becomes imminent.

Answer:

The answer is psychodynamics.

Explanation:

Psychodynamics is an approach to psychology which is mostly concerned with unconscious motivation for behaviour. According to this theory, several parts of the human mind, such as personality, interact directly with emotions.

One of its founders was Sigmund Freud, who believed the brain was in a constant "flow of energy", and compared the forces of the mind to those of thermodynamics (hence the name).

ratelena [41]

Answer:

Cognitive dissonance

Explanation:

In psychology, the term cognitive dissonance refers to the stress that a person experiences when he/she faces contradictory beliefs, ideas or values or when he/she has to act in a way that is contrary to these beliefs, ideas or values.

In this example Goran was about to award the job to the lowest bidder but then his boss demanded he awards the job to a friend of hers from college (the highest bidder). Thus, he feels torn between his sense of fairness and his boss' demand. We can see that Goran is facing contradictory values and he is being asked to act in a way that is contrary to his sense of fairness. Therefore, he is experiencing Cognitive dissonance.

A recent study at a liberal arts college concluded that demand elasticity is 0.91 for college courses. The administration is con
Anarel [89]

Answer:

B. increase tuition in order to increase revenue

Explanation:

Price elasticity of demand is a concept that seeks to measure the sensitivity of demand to the price of a good or service. Thus, if demand is elastic, it means that even small variations in price have a strong impact on demand. Conversely, if demand is inelastic, variations in the price of the good will not greatly affect demand, meaning consumers will continue to demand that particular good or service. The calculation of the price elasticity of demand consists in the division between the variation of the quantity demanded by the variation in the price practiced. If the result is greater than 1, demand is considered elastic (price sensitive). Conversely, if elasticity is less than 1, demand is considered inelastic (little price sensitive). If elasticity equals one, then the change in demand is exactly the same as the price change.

In the case of this faculty, the demand for courses is 0,91, so it's less than 1, therefore inelastic demand. This way, the college can maximize its revenue by increasing the tuition fee.
